Ryan Price is a hockey player recently traded to the Toronto club after a break down in his previous club. While trying to deal with his anxiety and self image issue, he meets Fabian, a gender-fluid musician with which he leaved a bit while teenager (the parents hosting hokey player for summer camps) and for which he had a crush. Despite their oppositions, they find attraction and connection in each other.
I have the cliche that the further you go in a serie, the less interesting this is, but here those 3 first books of Game Changers tend do be the opposite. This book makes a great work at painting personalities of the characters and having them navigate despite their troubles.
I enjoyed reading it a lot.
